In addition, every nook and cranny of space has been used, layering convenience on top of homey country feel. For example: you can see two large cabinet doors below the window. Behind those doors is shallow, but very convenient, wall storage.
Plenty Of Room
This is a very good sized bathroom full of country charm. The flooring is a green ceramic tile.
The toilet is a high-tech special water conserving, sweat resistant model. The original toilets, which we replaced, were constantly sweating/dripping water off the tank portion; an inherent attribute of Vermont humidity. This problem was completely resolved with this special model toilet.
Full View Of Vanity
The large three-way-mirror is another custom design... you won't be finding anything like this for sale at Home Depot. It is made entirely of beautiful wood, with the exception of the mirrors of course.
The faucet is lifetime warrantee nickel finish.
There are extra surge-protected outlets to accommodate numerous appliances, and there are additional built-in power strips along the other side of the vanity, in the little storage nooks you will see in the next picture.
You can see the vintage-style lights above the mirrors; out of view in the picture - on the ceiling - are standard bathroom heat lamps and fan.
This entire bathroom truly sets this Vermont property apart from any other home for sale.
Vanity Top Made Of 2" Solid Sealed Wood
Another custom design is the vanity top. The wood is sealed with a poly mixture like you would find on the bar-top in a classy pub.
You can see the hair dryer neatly stowed off to the side of the vanity in the appliance nook. If you look closely you can't see the end of the built-in power strip supplying power to that area. The reduction of clutter is phenomenal in this very organized, completely unique bathroom.
In harmony of our theme of no wasted space, the bottom of the vanity is actually a huge drawer which extends fully.
You've Never Seen A Shower/Jacuzzi Combo Like This
The sealed wood shower enclosure is another custom design that always looks stunning. Likewise the wood shower curtain mechanism (which kept me up several nights in a row trying to figure out how to design and build).
The shower fixtures are lifetime warrantee nickel finish, and there is a light above the shower head.
There is also a three-compartment shampoo - conditioner - lotion dispenser installed in the corner (can easily be removed if you don't like it).
Jacuzzi Tub
After a cold Vermont winter day, nothing soothes the bones like a good soak in this jet tub. The tub has six adjustable jets.
Handy Towel, Etc. Storage
These shelves run deep, and hold all kinds of stuff.
The floor underneath the bottom shelf is also used for storage. In that compartment is a removable panel to access the jacuzzi tub motor, etc.
